It could just be me but I cannot exercise without an awesome playlist of tunes to keep me going, remind me why I'm pushing myself and going through hell and back! A slow song coming on your iPod when your trying to pound along the pavement or prepare to lift a heavy weight is one of the most inappropriate moments ever! I'll upload some of my fav playlists soon but I want to hear yours first!
Feel free to leave a comment with some of your playlists or tunes to exercise to!
Song of Week 8- Jessie Ware - Running
Again, the hint is in the title! A more relaxed tune but is good to get you motivated before doing exercise or even when doing some less intense exercises in the gym. A current craze.
Song of Week 7- Ellie Goulding - Anything Could Happen
A well known celebrity runner herself this new song from Goulding is a steady and light tune to accompany you when exercising. Definitely for a more upbeat tempo but not too "shouty" and "overpowering" .
Song of Week 6- Bruce Springsteen - Born To Run

Song of Week 6- Bruce Springsteen - Born To Run
Rolling back the years with a golden oldie with an appropriate title for a running workout! Another fav Dancing in the Dark by the main man.
Song of Week 4- Harder Than You Think- Public Enemy
Continuing with a similar flavour of the month but in the shape of the super humans of the Paralympics. You might recognise this hip hop tune from the Channel 4 advert- chorus is catchy!
Song of Week 3- Survival by Muse
It's a grower! I have mainly chosen this song as it is the week of the beginning of London 2012 and this being one of the official songs. It definitely will spur you on to stepping onto the treadmill, pumping those legs on the bike or even cooling down to the intro. Wasn't too sure of it when first heard but quite catchy and inspirational lyrics!
Old Skool classic. When the intro kicks in, it gives you a buzz. Can vouch for this when managed to complete a half marathon listening to Elvis's albums on repeat- forgot to charge my iPod so had to use my mum's, so it was this or Cliff Richard!
Song of Week 1-Oliver Twist by Dbanj
